My name is Simona, and I am passionate about providing exceptional care for some of the most medically complex and vulnerable individuals in our community. Our advanced neuro-medical complex care home is built around one simple belief: every resident deserves to feel safe, valued, respected, and truly at home. We provide highly personalized care tailored to each individual’s physical, medical, and emotional needs. With an exceptional caregiver-to-resident ratio of 2–5 and awake staffing, our team is committed to providing attentive, around-the-clock support. Having nursing staff onsite also allows us to closely monitor residents and help minimize unnecessary hospitalizations. Beyond medical care, we believe in caring for the whole person. We incorporate meaningful experiences such as massage therapy, art and music therapy, celebrations, large birthday parties, and opportunities to honor and share each resident’s life story. Our home is intentionally designed to feel calm, peaceful, and welcoming—not institutional. Every detail is centered around creating an environment where residents can receive the highest quality of care while continuing to live with dignity, comfort, connection, and joy. For us, exceptional care means more than meeting medical needs. It means creating a home where every person feels known, loved, and cared for.

As a home health nurse I have the privilege of going into many adult foster homes to care for patients. All foster homes are not created equal and I could not be more grateful for the exceptional care provided at this adult foster home. The RN and caregivers at Sophie’s House are competent, proactive, and genuinely attentive to the needs of their residents. They are highly organized, communicate clearly and consistently, and always make sure families are kept informed. The home itself is exceptionally clean, beautiful, warm, and welcoming. It is clear that a great deal of thought and care goes into maintaining such a comfortable environment. Most importantly, I have tremendous confidence in the care provided. The combination of professionalism, compassion, excellent communication, and attention to detail when it comes to the resident's truly sets this home apart. I highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a safe, caring, and beautifully maintained home for their loved one.

My mom has been living at Sophie’s house now for seven years. When I come to visit, the house is always so unbelievably clean. And smells so good! But beyond that she has always had excellent care. There have been some medical issues and the staff has always been right on it. Almost always fresh cooked food that mom absolutely loves. Excellent communication and keeping us updated with what’s going on with her. She loves it!
