We provide warm, compassionate care for seniors. For over 24 years, families have entrusted us with care of their loved ones. Our staff are certified in dementia and Alzheimer’s care.
Our care homes are located in University Place near Chambers Bay Golf Course, in a serene and sought-after residential neighborhood. Residents enjoy breathtaking views of the Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains.
At Soundview, each resident is valued and tenderly cared for like family. Compared to large assisted living or memory care facilities, we admit only a few residents at a time. Our model frees our care team to give more attention and service to each resident. We meet all care needs from moderate to intensive.

Not only do I recruit, mentor, and supervise our excellent caregivers, I am hands on with caring for each resident and meeting their needs. At my care home, each resident is valued and tenderly cared for like family. Compared to large assisted living or memory care facilities, we admit only a few residents at a time. Our model frees our care team to give more attention and service to each resident. We meet all care needs from moderate to intensive.

I do not recommend this place for your loved one. Shortly after my dad moved there. He on two different visits told me that he felt like he was being punished. After a Mother’s Day celebration, he had several visitors.I visited him on Wednesday. He was in his room.My dad said he had been in his room for three days and just wanted to be in the main room with everyone else. I told Ruby his request.She said that my dad had too many visitors and had to think about her other residents.she was punishing him for having visitors. I reported her to the abuse hotline two times.This is not all that was disturbing!

My mom was in hospice at Soundview. Ruby and Larry took the best care of her. They are so thoughtful and caring. They see each individual and have a deep understanding of how to treat people with kindness, love, and respect. Their experience with all kinds of health issues is obvious. The people (as well as the view) are spectacular. In addition to Mom, they greatly supported our whole family. They have my deep gratitude, always.

My Grandma lived at Sound View Care center for the last couple years of her life. I want to thank the staff there for making those last couple years so wonderful for her. Also for all of us when we would come visit. The facility is gorgeous with the most amazing views of the Puget Sound. My grandma loved taking in the breathtaking views. The owners and staff were always so kind to me when I would visit and my grandma always had great things to say about them. Especially Louis! She adored him. So if you are looking for a place to put your loved one then I would highly recommend Sound View Care.

My brother was taken care of at Soundview for about a year and a half. I cannot say enough good about the care he received there. The owners were always sensitive about his needs and several times they went out of their way to make sure his meds were correct. My husband and I both deeply appreciate the kindness and attention to detail the owners always gave him.
