My name is Larisa, and I am proud to run Lorabella Care Home in Gresham, Oregon, alongside my husband and adult children. Caring for others has always been an important part of my life. I spent more than 10 years working as a childcare provider before transitioning into adult care. When my own mother’s health began to decline and she needed additional support, my family and I decided to open Lorabella Care Home. Every detail of our home—from the environment to the care we provide—was thoughtfully chosen with my mother in mind. As a family-owned adult family home in Gresham, our mission is to provide a safe, peaceful, and welcoming home where adults can receive compassionate, personalized care and feel respected, valued, and comfortable. I also speak English, Ukrainian and Russian and my husband speaks English and Romanian allowing us to communicate directly with residents and families who speak these languages and helping create a comfortable, familiar environment for everyone in our home. We believe every person deserves to be treated with dignity, kindness, and compassion. Our goal is to create a warm, home-like environment where each resident receives the individualized support they need while maintaining as much independence and quality of life as possible. At Lorabella Care Home, we care for every resident as we would care for our own family.
