My name is Monika, and I have been working in the healthcare field alongside my husband for over 26 years. After becoming a Registered Nurse in 2017, I was able to deepen my knowledge and expand the way I care for the elderly community. My journey into adult care began while working in a care home, Watching the compassion, dedication, and meaningful relationships they built with their residents inspired me to create a home of my own. Today, caring for others is more than just what I do, it is something I truly love and feel called to do. I am grateful for the opportunity to provide a safe, compassionate, and comfortable home where each resident is treated with dignity, respect, and genuine care. The relationships I build with my residents and their families are what make this work so meaningful to me. Every day, I am honored to serve the people entrusted to my care and to make a positive difference in their lives.

For the last six years of my mother’s life, the Miller family were her devoted caregivers. My mom had dementia and could be quite difficult at times, nevertheless, she was treated her with endless patience, compassion, and respect. They created a calm, loving environment that made my mom feel safe and cared for, even on her hardest days. Beyond their professionalism, they brought warmth and humanity into their home. It’s a testament to their caring nature that they care for their residents in their own home which is in a lovely suburban location. They were attentive, reliable, and deeply kind. I will always be grateful for the gentle dignity my mother experienced in her final years. I can’t recommend Pleasant View highly enough to any family looking for trustworthy, compassionate care for an aging loved one.

When searching for a place that genuinely feels like home for a loved one, Pleasant View Adult Care Home quietly stands out. Nestled in a serene, residential neighborhood, this care home blends the intimacy of a family setting with the professionalism of experienced caregivers. From the moment you walk through the door, there's a noticeable warmth—not just in the decor, but in the way staff engage with residents. It’s not institutional, and that’s a rare comfort. The caregivers here are not just checking off tasks; they take the time to listen, joke, and form real connections. Whether it’s a shared laugh over breakfast or a quiet moment in the garden, there’s an authenticity that can’t be faked. The home is clean, well-kept, and thoughtfully arranged. Each room reflects care, from personal touches in the furnishings to the soft lighting that avoids the starkness so common in elder care facilities. Meals are home-cooked, with attention to dietary needs and preferences, and the residents’ input is actually valued. One of Pleasant View’s strengths is its low resident-to-caregiver ratio. This means your loved one isn’t just another name on a chart—they’re a person, known and cared for as an individual. That sense of dignity and personalized attention is what sets Pleasant View apart. It’s not flashy. You won’t find marble floors or marketing gimmicks. But what you will find is something far more important: a place where people are treated with genuine kindness and respect, day in and day out. And in the world of adult care, that’s rare—and priceless
